Discovering Miravet Castle with our senses

We will travel to the Middle Ages through an experiment with the senses. Touching, smelling, listening and observing, we will try to discover what life must have been like then and if it was very different from ours. What landscape did the men and women of the Middle Ages see from the castle? What clothes did they wear? What noises did they hear? And what smells wafted around?

The aims of this activity are to discover who the Templars were and how they lived, to take an active part in the unfolding of a story, to experiment with the senses (touch, smell, hearing, sight), to arouse the children’s interest in their past and to take part in a collective activity, expressing their own ideas and respecting other people’s.
