The Textile Mill The guided tour of the exhibition “The Textile Mill” A journey through the old Aymerich, Amat and Jover mill, and its original areas dedicated to the production of energy and the whole chain of manufacturing woollen cloth. The exhibition recreates the atmosphere of a mill in the early twentieth century: the hum and movement of the steam engine, the sound of looms, spinning machines and the daily lives of workers. Throughout the exhibition, students can enjoy how machinery operated and enjoy a Jacquard loom, which is exceptional and unique to Catalonia, both in its technical quality as well as its state of conservation.
