Frida Kahlo isn't just a beauty icon, but a hero of mine, because she lived a full life despite living in constant pain from a horrific traffic accident she suffered as a young girl. She could have spent her life in her room, defeated. Instead, she painted, she caroused with both men and women, some prominent people I might add! She traveled and she had her strong opinions.
