Once again, October is synonymous with open-door events and activities centred around Catalan and European heritage. Once again, the European Heritage Days (EHD) will arrive as usual: they are being held on 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th October 2015.
For this year, the Council of Europe has placed special emphasis on promoting industrial heritage; thus it offers a good opportunity to highlight the historical importance of industrial activity in Catalonia and the numerous testimonies to this which have been preserved and have a historic, technological, social and architectural value.
The EHD is a festival of heritage and the various municipalities and organisations have organised a series of free activities for all ages: guided tours, photographic competitions, theatre performances and concerts, etc.
