Searching for the perfect framing

Catalan heritage has always been a privileged stage for the cinematic art.

From the Collegiate Church of Sant Vicenç de Cardona, which appears in the film Falstaff - Chimes at Midnight to the filming of Game of Thrones in the medieval city of Gerona, filmmakers, publicists, directors and producers have found that these heritage sites are the perfect locations in which to set their stories.

Looking for a place to shoot? Want to film in a heritage site? You will find some ideas in the filming locations dossier and the Galeria del patrimoni filmat.

You can also consult images of heritage sites using our search engine, Flickr or Instagram.
